Tahiti Takes Top Spots in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2011 Reader’s Choice Awards
Voted by Condé Nast Travelers’ readers, some of the world’s most discerning travelers, the islands of Bora Bora, Moorea, Huahine, Rangiroa and Raiatea filled five of the 10 spots in the “Top Islands (Oceania)” category.
Tahiti’s premiere international airline, Air Tahiti Nui, was named the No. 3 Small Airline among the world’s best in Condé Nast Travelers’ Reader’s Choice Awards. The awards, published in the November 2011 issue, introduced the new Small Airlines category this year.
Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora, Le Taha’a Island Resort & Spa, Te Tiare Beach Resort, Huahine, Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa and the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa filled five of the 10 spots in the “Resort (Oceania)” category.
More than 28,000 readers of Condé Nast Traveler participated in the 2011 Readers’ Choice annual survey. The 24th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards is a celebration of hotels and resorts, destinations, cruise lines and airlines that exceed travelers’ expectations.
